This is the "UP" house. It is so cool to see an actual house from the movie. It will be in the Parade of Homes so we can go inside. Apparently the inside is like the movie also. It is also for sale. That would be terrible to live there. Just in the 10 minutes we were there, 4 to 5 different cars full of families showed up also to take pictures. I'm sure people would want to see the inside also. I think they should just make it a museum or something.

It is about time somebody invented a spanking machine!

Ok, I admit it....I am a Harry Potter freak! I think it is rubbing off onto my family too. It may be a disease. We played Harry Potter Clue last night. So fun!!! Oh...we also played Harry Potter Scene It and we are going to see HP7.2 for the third time today. I told you I am an HP freak.

Short update on the rest of Girls Camp. Apparently two others had emergency appendectomies, someone had a broken ankle, and one poor leader miscarried.:( That was all on top of the minor stuff like allergies, stomach aches, homesickness, bug bites, and blisters. Good Times!!!!
OK, off the topic, but I found this poem that I really like. I sometimes find myself looking for the big, satisfying, happy moments in my life, but really the little things I love are around me all of the time.
"Aimless Love"
Billy Collins
This morning as I walked along the lakeshore,
I fell in love with a wren
and later in the day with a mouse
the cat had dropped under the dining room table.

In the shadows of an autumn evening,
I fell for a seamstress
still at her machine in the tailor's window,
and later for a bowl of broth,
steam rising like smoke from a naval battle.

This is the best kind of love, I thought,
without recompense, without gifts,
or unkind words, without suspicion,
or silence on the telephone.

The love of the chestnut,
the jazz cap and one hand on the wheel.

No lust, no slam of the door-
the love of the miniature orange tree,
the clean white shirt, the hot evening shower,
the highway that cuts across Florida.

No waiting, no huffiness,or rancor-
just a twinge every now and then

for the wren who had built her nest
on a low branch overhanging the water
and for the dead mouse,
still dressed in its light brown suit.

But my heart is always propped up
in a field on its tripod,
ready for the next arrow.

After I carried the mouse by the tail
to the pile of leaves in the woods,
I found myself standing at the bathroom sink
gazing down affectionately at the soap,

so patient and soluble,
so at home in its pale green soap dish.
I could feel myself falling again
as I felt its turning in my wet hands
and caught the scent of lavender and stone.
